About the ARTISTS

Cameron and Richard both share a passion for gardening and landscape design.  Photos were taken directly from their private garden in Garden City, Idaho, Scottsdale, Arizona, or from their travels.  Richard began his love for gardening with his grandmother in Tennessee.  Richard, a native of east Tennessee, moved to Dallas, Texas, where he lived 15 years.  He then moved to San Diego, California, where he lived 7 years; while there he published a cookbook inspired by his mother and her wonderful collection of family recipes.  Cameron has a design background and a B.A. in art and education.  He has a passion for gardening since childhood.  Cameron is a Sacramento, California native and has enjoyed gardening from San Francisco to San Diego.

They have lived in Garden City, ID, where they designed and built their lake-front home. They are currently living in Scottsdale, AZ.  Most of their free time is spent in their own garden or working on photo shoots, writing, and publishing.  Cameron and Richard both enjoy southern vegetation and warm weather and have risen to the seasonal challenges presented by Idaho's climate to design a garden that feels and looks tropical.  Cameron pulled this off by tracking down exotic-looking, yet hardy, plants from local nurseries and catalogs and through trial and error and hard work has produced a lush landscape in the Northwest.  Richard has added his love for rocks and their timeless quality into the design.

CAMRICH DESIGNS is an independent design company formed by Richard A Morrell and Cameron J Davis.  They have been involved in community charity events and fundraisers such as the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees (Boise, Idaho) and the Eagle (Idaho) Chamber of Commerce Food and Wine Gala and Festival.  They offer a variety of creative products and design services.
